1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how IndoView (indoview.id), published by PT IndoView Media Indonesia, collects, uses and protects personal data belonging to visitors to our site.
2. What we collect
- Information you provide directly: if you contact us ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected], or any contact form), we collect what you choose to share — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.
- Automatically collected technical data: our hosting infrastructure may log basic technical data (such as IP address and request timestamps) for the sole purpose of maintaining site security and reliability. This is standard server-level logging, not user tracking.
- Cookies: IndoView does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking purposes, and does not build profiles of visitors. We do not currently deploy a cookie banner because we do not use non-essential cookies. If this changes in future, this policy — and a cookie banner — will be updated before any such cookies are deployed.
3. How we use it
Solely to respond to enquiries and tips, and to operate and secure the site. We do not use personal data for advertising, profiling, or analytics purposes, because we do not currently engage in any of those activities.
4. Legal basis
Where applicable (including for readers in the EEA/UK), we process personal data on the basis of legitimate interest (site security) or to respond to a request you have made to us directly. We do not rely on consent-based tracking because we do not deploy tracking technologies.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may share a limited amount of data with service providers who help us run the site (hosting, email), under confidentiality terms, or where required by law.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected for — typically, the time needed to respond to and resolve your enquiry — after which it is deleted or anonymised.
